Shopping lists

Everything you need to buy, from recipes, groups or typed in, added up.

Your lists

“Shopping Lists” shows your lists and your family's, each with its first items; a badge like “+ 12” counts the rest. Tap a list to open it.

Further down come “Temporary lists” (from “Shop now”) and “Shared with you” (lists others shared with you by link).

  • A running list: you shop it again and again, so ordering doesn't take its items off.
  • You share this list by link: others add items to it.
  • A temporary list, and the day it is deleted.

Create a list

  1. Open “Shopping Lists” and press “Add Shopping List”.
  2. Enter the “Shopping List Name”.
  3. Add recipes or recipe groups (see below), or single items with “Add Ingredient”.
  4. Press “Save”.
Good to know
  • Lists also come from recipes and groups: “Add to a list or shop” on a recipe, “Create list” on a group.

Add recipes and groups

  1. Open the list and unfold “Add Recipe to List” or “Add Group to List”.
  2. Pick the recipe or group. For a recipe, set the servings and pick its side dishes.
  3. Press the + button: the ingredients go on the list.
  4. Press “Save”.
Good to know
  • Items with the same description and unit add up: two recipes with 200 g onions each make 400 g onions. Items marked “Optional” add up apart from the others.
  • Items others added through the list's share link never add up with yours, so everyone's stays visible.

Add, change and remove items

“Add Ingredient” adds a single item: type what it is, the amount and the unit. Change any item right in the list and remove it with the bin. Press “Save” when you are done.

Items marked “Optional” are things you may already have at home.

  • A guest or someone outside your family added it through the list's share link; the badge says who.
  • “Recipes”: unfolds the recipes the item comes from.

Running lists

Tick “Is Running List?” for a list you shop again and again, like what you buy every week. Ordering such a list doesn't take its items off, so it is ready for next time.

Shop now: temporary lists

“Shop now” on a recipe or group puts its ingredients on a temporary list and opens it, ready to order. Temporary lists are listed apart and deleted after a week; saving one pushes that back a week.

To keep it as one of your lists, press “Keep list” on it.

Good to know
  • Temporary lists can't be shared, and aren't offered when you add recipes to a list.

Ticking off what you bought

When you order a list through Greezy, the items whose products went to Picnic or to your Flotte Karotte or Ökullus order come off the list by themselves. For dm and flaschenpost, the order page offers to take them off once you opened the products there.

Bought something elsewhere? Remove it with the bin and press “Save”. Running lists keep their items.

Import a list from Bring!

  1. Under “Shopping Lists”, press “Import from Bring” – or on a list, to add to that list.
  2. If Greezy asks, log into Bring with your Bring e-mail address and password.
  3. Pick the “Bring list” and untick the articles you don't want.
  4. In “Add to”, pick a list of yours or a new one.
  5. Press the import button at the bottom.
Good to know
  • Greezy only reads the Bring list; it stays as it is in Bring.
  • A note on an article in Bring, like “2 l, low-fat”, becomes the amount and unit; the rest goes into brackets.

Send a list to Bring!

  1. Open the list and press “Send to Bring”.
  2. Press “Open in Bring”. On a phone it opens the Bring app, on a computer Bring's website.
  3. Bring shows the list as a recipe of the same name: add its articles to one of your Bring lists there.
Good to know
  • This needs no Bring login in Greezy.
  • Bring gets the list as it was last saved, and the link works for a week.
  • Greezy never changes your Bring lists: you add the articles in Bring.

Delete a list

Press “Delete” at the bottom of the list, or the bin next to it under “Shopping Lists”, and confirm with “Yes”. It is gone for your family too.
